DTMで楽曲の録音や再生中、「バリバリとしたノイズがでる！」「強制停止されてしまう！」などで、悩んでいませんか？
これは、ソフトシンセやエフェクトの数が増えることで、大きくなっていくパソコンへの負荷が原因となります。
CUBASEには、これを軽減する機能や方法がいくつかありますが、その中でもトラックのCPU負荷をほぼ０にする、フリーズ機能というものがあります。
これを行うことで、上記のトラブルなく快適に作業できるようになります。
今回の記事では、「CUBASEでトラックのCPU負荷を０にするフリーズ機能の使い方」をDTM初心者さんに向けてお伝えしていきます。

・フリーズ機能の使い方
トラックを選択し、インスペクターの赤枠部分をクリック。
インスペクターについてはこちら↓
上記画面で、「インストゥルメントをフリーズ」にチェックを入れ、OKをクリック。
適用後、赤枠のようになれば、OKです。
※解除の方法は、もう一度フリーズボタンをクリックし、フリーズ解除を選択します。
・フリーズ化の特徴
・「フリーズしたインストゥルメントは解放する」をチェックすると、メモリも解放される。
・フリーズ化されたトラックのCPU使用率は、ほぼ０になります。
・フレーズ状態のトラックは、音量とPAN以外の機能が使えない。(打ち込みやエフェクトなど修正ができない。)
・その他のCPU軽減方法
・バッファーサイズを高くする
・トラックのMIDIを、オーディオに変換する
・１つのソフトシンセで、複数の音色を使用する
