あなたは、キーエディターって、知っていますか？
CUBASEには、他にもドラムエディター、スコアエディターと３つの画面がありますが、
これは、実際にMIDIの打ち込みや、編集を行う画面となります。
この画面も、難しそうに見えて、使用する機能は、いくつかに決まっています。
そのポイントを覚えれば、効率良くキーエディターを、使えるようになります。
今回の記事では、「CUBASEのピアノロール表示画面 キーエディターについて」をDTM初心者さんに向けてお伝えしていきます。

・キーエディターウィンドウとは？
キーエディターウィンドウは、Key(鍵盤)で音階を表した画面で、ピアノロールとも呼ばれています。
ここで、MIDIの打ち込みや、移動や複製、伸縮、削除など、様々な編集を行えます。
・キーエディターを理解しよう
それぞれの、機能を見ていきましょう！
・ツール
キーエディターウィンドウでは、これらを使用して、打ち込んでいきます。
左から、
・選択ツール…音の長さの調節や、移動。
・鉛筆ツール…音の入力(打ち込み)。
・消しゴムツール…音の削除。
・トリムツール…音の切除。
・ハサミツール…音の分割。
・ミュートツール、音の消音。
・のりツール…分割した音を繋ぐ。
・虫眼鏡ツール…ノートの拡大縮小。
・放物線ツール…放物線上に、音の連打。
・タイムワープ…グリッドの移動。
このように、なります。
・鍵盤
音階(Key)を表した、鍵盤です。
クリックすると、トラックに立ち上げた、ソフトウェア音源の音階(Key)が鳴ります。
MIDIキーボードと繋がっているので、これからも好きな音を、出すことができます。
これらは、音階(Key)が上がるにつれて、C２(key２のド)、D２(key２のレ)、Ｅ２(key2のミ)…と、順に高くなっていきます。
・ルーラー
小節数や時間を、確認できます。
再生すると、左から右へ、これが流れます。
・ベロシティー
打ち込んだ音１つ１つの、音の強さを、表しています。
これらを調節して、音に強弱をつけリアルにしたり、ミュート(消音)を入れるのに、使用します。
・キーエディターウィンドウの立ち上げ方法
キーエディターウィンドウを、立ち上げてみましょう！
プロジェクトウィンドウで、ツールバーの鉛筆を、クリックします。
そして、トラックの、空のMIDIポートを、横にドラッグします。
そうすると、キーエディターでの範囲が、決定されます。
この枠を、イベントと言います。
これを、ダブルクリックすることで、キーエディターを、立ち上げることができます。
